Taeyoung Kang is a fine art photographer 
based in Busan, South Korea.  

Her work explores light, shadow, silhouette, and the subtle boundaries between presence and absence. Beginning with an interest in photographing people without revealing their identities, she gradually developed a visual language centered on shadows, reflections, and fragmented figures.

Through black-and-white photography, she transforms ordinary streets and familiar spaces into quiet, ambiguous scenes. Her images often focus on fleeting moments, distance, memory, and the way light reshapes both space and perception.

Her work has been presented through exhibitions, photography platforms, and international selections, and she continues to develop a long-term body of work exploring the relationship between light, human presence, and shadow.
